Tiketike Apartments

Tiketike Way is an interesting project that explores bringing an apartment product
typology to a suburban hillside environment. The 24 2-bedroom apartments in four blocks,
challenges the previous strategies of developing townhouse/standalone house typologies on a large site that has had previous developers struggle to deliver the 50-odd homes that have been built to date.

The topography of this site creates feasibility challenges . We worked
closely with the client to challenge the thinking and the typology. The resulting design created 24 apartments where there was previously intended to have 12 townhouses.

The elevated hillside location provides the apartments with fabulous views across the valley and captures the essence what makes Wellington special.
